This project is the ghost of Third Harvest. Winter approached so quickly and the woods and weather were changing. The full project was put on hold, but by the time spring was arriving I was wrist deep in another script, Sacrifice; peeling back more layers of symbolism in blood and ritual.

This appendix was meant as a teaser for what I thought would be the next installment of the Harvest series, Third Harvest. This project certainly retains the memories of the Harvest world and succeeds as a trailer for a future reveal.

MESSAGE SHORT FILM
This is the second Harvest Film, Message. Writing this was a true process of love. Expanding the Harvest lore into symbolism, leaning into costuming, more advanced editing made this project a true sequel. The story picks up where Harvest ends but leaves you wishing for more. A true Empire Strikes Back moment.

A follow up to Harvest. Originally intended to be Harvest 2, the project was feeling rushed. The decision was made to adapt some of the footage into a new film exploring more of the world of Harvest. New editing techniques and additional color work really made this one of my favorite pieces.

The first short film. This project took one week and made a huge impact on future productions. Shot at Hobby Park, NC. with a tripod, Sigma 30mm, and Sony FX30. Score recorded in Ableton Live with Novation Circuit and Korg Kaossilator Pro.
